Twillingate’s hiking trails are world-class, and its Rockcut hiking trail system offers more than 35km of spectacular coastal hiking. Trail development is ongoing, and the Rockcut trails are well-marked at the trailheads with adequate directional signage. You may even be inspired to pack art supplies and spend time at one of the artists’ easels on some of the trails or be lucky to find a spot for your tent on one of the tent platforms on the trails.

Check out the large Rockcut trail map signs at the Northside and Southside rest stops, or ask the visitor information centre or your host for a printed trail map. Above and beyond the Rockcut trail system, Twillingate and New World Island have many more spectacular hiking and walking trails along their coastline, across the cliffs, with stunning ocean views!
