The Rockcut Trails is a system of beautiful hiking trails located along the coast of Twillingate’s South Island. These trails offer lengthy ‘point-to-point’ hikes plus shorter ‘loop back’ options. Trek Twillingate’s rugged coastline, explore the rocky beaches of Codjacks Cove, the sea stacks of Spillers Cove and the majestic views at French Head, or just sit and admire the natural beauty of Newfoundland’s northeast coast. Keep your eyes peeled for sea birds, wild berries, whales, icebergs and more! Level: Moderate/Difficult
Above and beyond the Rockcut trail system Twillingate has many more spectacular hiking and walking trails along its coastline, across the cliffs with spectacular ocean views!
Hikes provide the opportunity to pick blueberries, partridgeberries or bakeapples when in season. Be prepared for wind and fog and have proper clothing, shoes, and water.
